One of the greatest German exponents of the rationalism was WALTER ADOLPH GROPIUS, German architect, designer and urban planner.
Born in 1883 in Berlin and lived until 1969 in Boston, he was one of the
Bauhaus founders, together with Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright, Alvar
Aalto and Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe. Creator in 1911 of the Fagus Workshops declared UNESCO heritage since 2011. He is remembered as one of the masters of the Modern movement of architecture.
